Not only in Guayaquil militaries will take to the streets to conduct joint operations with the police, they will also – in the coming days – do it so in different counties of the provinces of Guayas, Manabí and Los Ríos. The aim? Reducing rates of violent deaths that have increased in certain districts nationwide.
This was announced Monday by Defense Minister Miguel Carvajal at the second Sectorial Security Council held in Guayaquil along with authorities of the Interior Ministry, the National Police, the Armed Forces and other State agencies.
