Two banks in Ecuador among the best 25 financial entities in Latin America

The Bank “Banco del pacifico” is listed as one of the 25 best banks in Latin America, according to an investigation by América Economía (America Economia Intelligence), which applied the CAMEL Method (Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings and Liquidity).
The publication placed the bank “Banco del Pichincha” in eighth place and “Banco del pacifico” in 17th place out of the top 25 banks. The financial entities include the following: Banco de Chile, De Credito Perú, BBVA Bancomer, Santander de Chile, del Bajío and Continental BBVA, among others.
“Banco del Pacífico” outperformed banks such as Santander de Mexico, Interbank, Safra, Santander of Uruguay, Banorte, Security, Agrícola and Bradesco.
The information presented corresponds to June 2017, which measured the management of the banks considering all that commercial bank present in Latin America with total assets of over $ 4,000 million. The “Banco del pacifico” records a total amount of assets of $ 5,266,316,347.51 and net profits of $ 65,146,896.52. (I)
