A Lawsuit was filed Against Rafael Correa
A $ 10 million financial compensation was asked by Edgar Coral at a moral hazard lawsuit that he raised against president Rafael Correa in the Division of Civil and Commercial Law of the National Court of Justice (CNJ ).
The felony would have been carried on January 29 when the Ecuadorian president, in his usual Saturday’s broadcast, said: “I was told the name of the land dealer is Edgar Coral in Pisulí. We want these kind of guys never again over here. Do not leave them come in here.”
The lawsuit filed by Coral, on May 2, is clear, complete and accurate, said the judges of the Civil Chamber, Galo Martinez, Carlos Ramirez (President of the CNJ) and Manuel Sanchez, who is in charge of ordinary procedures of this process. The Board ordered to notify the news on the lawsuit to the head of state.
Coral said that once he exhaust all the courts in the country, he will take the case to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as the president did not act as a citizen but as the president. “I’ll prove that the president insulted me, he lied, slandered and must be punished,” said Coral.
