It is a complicated time and unity is crucial, not just to prevail but also to evolve. This is the idea posed by Gino Marcos Cornejo, president of the Professional Association of Business Studies of Guayas (Cpceg for its Spanish acronym), a group that with only 5 months of operation has already achieved important alliances.

In this framework, the Espiritu Santo University (UESS) and the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil (GCC) signed a cooperation agreement, a plan that according to Cornejo, seeks to attract the attention of professionals, with an offer that addresses two important fronts: the academic and corporate.

“A similar association that brings together all the specialties (of the business sector) did not existed in the Ecuadorean society before,” he said.

The ambitions of the emerging organization are great: disseminating entrepreneurship within different provinces, which in the medium term will allow them to consolidate a national federation. “We are currently going through a diffusion phase,” notes Cornejo.

He adds that among the many advantages that are being prepared for the potential partners, the constant “signing of interagency cooperation with national and international organizations, public and private academic institutions, and multiple discounts for the activities and training” is emphasized.
