A New Lawsuit for 30-S case
Yesterday, assemblyman Clever Jimenez presented at the Attorney Office a complaint against President Rafael Correa and Defense Minister Javier Ponce because of their actions during the Ecuadorian police uprising on September 30th (30-S), 2010.
Carlos Jimenez along with Dr. Eduardo Figueroa and Fernando Villavicencio, spokesman for Polo Democrático party, signed the complaint on the arguing of incitement to political chaos, civil strife and rebellion of the police, besides to alterations of the constitutional order, injured and death people (civil people, military and police members).
The reasons of the complaint, which are written in 107 sheets and contains several videos, demands the attendance in court of president Correa and other witnesses of the facts occurred at the Police Hospital that day.
Assemblyman expected to take the case to international courts because he does not trust the current Attorney General, Galo Chiriboga.
