A vial of blood of John Paul II was stolen in Italy
Posted On 27 Jan 2014
This past weekend at a church in central Italy, a vial of blood from Pope John Paul II was stolen, along with a crucifix.
The relic was held in the little church of San Pietro della Ienca, in a mountainous region of Abruzzo, a central Italian region that the popular Polish pope used to go for walks or skiing.
50 police members carry out the search with the help of specially trained dogs. The Office of L’Aquila has opened an investigation.
