A year after the 30S incidents the Family of a victim Demand Justice
The National Assembly yesterday received an unexpected visit from Sandra Jimenez and his mother, Flor Granda, sister and mother of Froilan Jiménez, Police who died in the Ecuadorian police revolt last September 30 (30S), 2010.
Mother and daughter demanded justice and claimed that the research has been stopped because the government still does not provide the list of military officers involved in the police operation carried out in the Police Hospital.
“Until now justice has not be present in our case because we have not foud yet the murderer of my brother,” said Sandra.
She added that the report on the death of his brother determination that the bullet that caused his death was for military use, and asks: “Who ordered a military to shoot? Was it President Rafel Correa or the Military Chiefs?”
Sandra Jimenez asked the Government and the private and public media to stop the transmition of the images that show the moment when his brother died. She also rejected the celebrations prepared by Alianza PAIS regarding the 30s police revolt planned for next Friday.
