Aerosmith Will Perform Tonight at Quito’s Atahualpa Stadium

Posted On 05 Nov 2011

Around 40,000 fans of the American band Aerosmith will attend tonight to the Atahualpa Olimpic Stadium in Quito to sing songs like “Jaded”, “Crazy” and “I Do not Want to Miss a Thing” with Steven Tyler.

This is one of the concerts of the “Back On The Road” tourin Latin America.”It’s the most important band that has come here for the first time in its farewell tour around Latin America,” said a spokeswoman for the company in charge of the event, Belen Acosta.

Acosta said that the performance of the band in Quito will be the most expensive (about $ 900,000) that has been mounted in Ecuador. The country “does not have all the technology items required for their show”, so it was necessary to import equipment.

Aerosmith ends in Ecuador its tour on the South American region. The band is heading north to give three concerts in Mexico and then they will visit Japan. “I really want to sweat a storm with my crazy fans of Latin America,” tweeted frontman Steven Tyler.
