Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Performed With a Black Eye in Paraguay

Posted On 27 Oct 2011

Lead singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, recently suffered an injury while taking a bath in his hotel room in Paraguay. The performer ended with a black eye and a couple of missing teeth, he still performed in Paraguay Wednesday night.

The singer of “Jaded” received stitches on his eye and lost two teeth, however, it had nothing to do with the use of drugs or alcohol.

“I get that people think that. It still bothers me a little, but it’s something that I have to deal with for the rest of my life,” Tyler told NBC’s anchor Matt Lauer on a telephone interview this morning.

“I wore my sunglasses for my first song , took them off and the crowd roared,” Tyler said. “Not only did I break my face, but the next night we broke the house record.”
