Airtime to Mobile Phones will not have Expiration Date

The National Council of Telecommunications, CONATEL informed that since February 2nd, mobile airtime will not have a date of expiration.
Telecommunications Minister, Jaime Guerrero, stated in an interview: “Air time should last until the user decides to use all his/her minutes, not until the operator decition” also stressed that it is a civil rightand by virtue of the body made the decision.
The minister added that the measure will also benefit postpaid users: “At times when you have a postpaid plan at the end of the month is limited and you buy air time cards. This card is entered (by the user) must retain the balance,” he said.
