Alex Quinonez is king sprinter in South America

The Ecuadorian won the 100 and 200 meters at the South American of Cartagena. That established him as the best sprinter in South America.
Quinonez was London Olympic finalist in 2012 and is the first Ecuadorian to win both sprints, matching what was done by the 200 meters, the Brazilian Robson da Silva in Medellin in 1989, with a mark of 29 seconds and 44 hundredths.
In the South American of Athletics of Cartagena, Colombia, also the participation of Ecuadorian Andres Chocho, in march and Erika Chavez, in 200-meter dash also stood out.
