This morning, businessman Alvaro Noboa gave an interview to Radio Cristal, reaffirming political persecution by the local government and the IRS against him.
Noboa based his complaint on the 2005 figures when this entity billed $700,136 to Dole, $39,500 to Chiquita, $14,219 to Reybanpac and 11,748 at Del Monte. While, Exportadora Bananera Noboa has been required to pay more than $ 95million for the payment of a gloss of $49’206.895,28 million, plus interest and penalties.
Noboa stressed that company Dole is the biggest exporter in Ecuador, beating exporter Bonita. Also, multinational Chiquita is one of the largest in the world.
