American Airlines canceled its Miami-Quito flights this Wednesday

After the order made by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States for the permanence on land of the Boeing 737 MAX fleet in the United States as a precautionary measure, two flights on the Miami-Quito route were canceled on Wednesday.
The flights canceled Miami-Quito are: AA947 and AA939
Canceled Quito-Miami flights are: AA946 and AA932.
In the United States, American Airlines reported that it has 24 aircraft affected by this order, but they reaffirmed that the safety of its passengers and crews is their priority.
The operations center is working to reroute the aircraft throughout the system and cover as many scheduled trips as possible.

American Airlines recommends affected customers that they can re-book by contacting the booking team. If a flight is canceled, customers can request a full refund by visiting their website. Customers who booked through a travel agency should contact their agency directly.
The airline operates about 85 flights per day on average using the Max 8.
