In Madrid, Spain over three thousand Ecuadorians with ages from 15-35 years participated with a million of youngsters in a contest to attend the XXVI World Youth Day (WYD 2011).  http://wydcentral.org/

Among the thousand Ecuadorians that participated, Juan Carlos Piedra Calderon, a youth from the capital of Ecuador, Quito, was chosen to participate in the event. Now Juan Carlos Piedra will be eating alongside the Pope and eleven more youths in a dinner organized by the World Youth Day.

The event would be held in Madrid from August 16 to 21 in the presence of the Pope Benedict XVI. (AV)
