Annabella Azin: PRIAN wants to reach second round
In an interview with Teleamazonas, Dr. Annabella Azin, wife of Alvaro Noboa, said her party (PRIAN) wants to reach the second round of voting and form a large bloc of opposition.
Azin says her husband, PRIAN leader, talks with Lucio Gutierrez, talked with Guillermo Lasso and many representatives of movements that were not qualified by the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym).
Referring to “advanced” talks on behalf of Noboa with Gutierrez, said “later this month, the results will be known.”
Furthermore, Azin considered essential that the National Assembly is made up largely of opposition members to “fight laws against freedom and the country’s interests.”
In conclusion, Azin revealed that PRIAN has asked her to be candidate and says she is sure that she will be a national candidate to the Assembly. (MZ)
