The national agency of transit (ANT) postponed once again the delivery of the review competition and vehicle registration to the City Hall Public Transit Company of Guayaquil (EPMTG).
The director of the transit entity, Paola Carvajal, stated that one of the arguments that prevented from validating this second inspection is that they did not have easy access to the processes of connectivity. “We have some doubts in the software production, the functioning of the system as such. We haven’t been able to validate it all and have not verify it in its entirety because they have not shown us. They have shown us only modules or part of the system,” she said.
Menawhile the general manager of the EPMTG, Andres Roche, told the news channel Ecuavisa, in a note that read, “once again the spokesperson of the Government has lied. We will present the technical evidence with the law by the hand. We warn that, according to article 6 of the law of the Cootad, is especially prohibited to officials outside the GADs, to prevent, delay the adoption of a competition, under penalty of dismissal.”
