Approval of orders from productive sectors
Ecuadornews:
On September 26, the Advisory Council presented 139 proposals to President Moreno. Of those, approximately 86% have the approval of the Executive, said Édison Garzón, president of the ProponLe al Futuro group and member of the Advisory Council.
The proposals of the private sector are concentrated in five main axes: taxation; productive environment (labor issues and red tape); access to markets, investment and financing; innovation, quality, and entrepreneurship.
The main decision entrepreneurs demand is the signing of a commercial agreement with the US. They also recommended signing trade agreements with Canada, Russia, and Asian countries, triggering incentives for exporters and more controls for smuggling. Today it will be known if these requests were also approved. (I)
