Asad Is the New Coach of Emelec

Yesterday Nassib Neme, president from Emelec´s Football Committee
assured the entrance the Argentinean Omar Asad as the new coach of the electrical team in the 2011 season.

Asad is listed as one of the youngest coaches with the greatest projection in Argentina.

Neme explained that he hired Asad “for his style of game, because the way how he made play to his teams, for his youth, and his winning spirit. Godoy Cruz made his brightest campaign in hands of the Argentinean.”

While Assad said: “I like the idea of running in Ecuador. Emelec is one of the greatest teams in the continent; I have seen them in international tournaments and even I saw matches videos of the Ecuadorian tournament.”

Today, at 12:00, Emelec will give a press conference in order to provide more information of Omar Asad. The event will be on the premises of Electrocables.
