Asked to Investigate Use of Aircraft Presidential Legacy

Political Opposition is demanding to investigate the use of the presidential aircraft named Legacy  by the Assembley´s chairman Fernando Cordero and his wife for a ecuadorian immigrants meeting in Toronto, Canada.
Past weekend, Cordero admitted have traveled Gloria Astudillo´s wife using the presidential aircraft. Assemblies Leonardo Viteri and Fausto Cobo are calling for a investigation because the aircraft use for personal purposes is a legal violation to the constitution because “no state may use anything for their own”, they added.
The constitutional expert Alejandro Ponce Martínez said this fact is not only a law abuse, it also meaning a violation of ethics and morality. In 1998 the energy minister Patricio Rivadeneira and his family traveled to Salinas on a plane from state Petroecuador. Later, Rivadeneira had to pay the tickets and to resign.

Last Friday in Cuenca Cordero wrote on the Assembly website that he made a mistake calling it a “human error” have carried his wife. He didn’t explained how his grandson flight with them.
