Assault in Oslo Leaves Several Casualties
Today the Norwegian capital was assaulted by a bomb car and a subsequent shooting left a toll of at least 16 people dead and 15 injured.
In the first attack, there were two explosions at the government complex in Oslo which killed seven people and wounded 15. Minutes later, a man dressed as police launched a shooting at a camp of the Social Democratic Youth (JS) held on the island of Uteya, where nine deaths are estimated.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of deaths, but police reports have asserted that the two incidents are related to the aggressor from the camp of the JS in car bomb attack occurred two hours earlier at the government complex.
Norwegian police will not say the names of the deceased, adding that they will only get in touch with the families of the death people and asked the public to follow step by step the instructions given by the Norwegian police, as this has to cover a lot of work due to two events that have occurred in such short notice.
