Barack Obama reached a historical re-election in the United States against the Republican Mitt Romney. Obama assured being more inspired than ever to overcome the challenges that he will have in his second period.

“We know in our hearts that for the United States the best is yet to come,” said the leader in a speech in a convention in Chicago before thousands of followers. His wife Michelle and his two daughters accompanied Obama.

The re-elected president said feeling more determined and gave a hopeful speech in which he told his Republican rival to “work together” after defeating him in a tough competition that was not defined until the last moment.

Romney recognized his defeat an hour and a half later after learning the results, Obama won with the popular vote. “This is a moment of great challenges for the United States and I pray that the president successfully guides our nation,” stated the successful businessman. AV
