More than 30,000 fans gathered last night at the Monumental stadium in Guayaquil, to witness the victory of Barcelona Sporting Club over El Nacional by 3-1, with goals from Narciso Mina (2) and Jose Amaya.

This victory gets Barcelona closer to its 14th title, four dates before the end of the tournament, without playing the finale.

At minute 15, Narciso Mina opened the score after a mistake by goalkeeper Cabezas,  he was left alone in the penalty area and unhurriedly made the kick and scored.

After the first goal, the plays performed by Mina, Ayovi and Diaz were applauded by the fans, giving Barcelona incessant opportunities for scoring. The second goal was made by Jose Amaya, after a pass from Damian Diaz, at minute 25.

Adrian Bone (El Nacional) scored the discount goal at the first minute of the second half, with a free kick. But the goal that sealed the game was on Mina’s account, adding 26 goals to his personal record.

Meanwhile, Emelec defeated Manta Soccer Team by 1-0 at the Capwell Stadium, and Deportivo Quito won 2-0 against Independiente José Terán.
