Barcelona Loses Against El Nacional and Lost the Tip of the Standings
After 6 games away, without any defeat, this Sunday the Barcelona Sporting Club lost to El Nacional 2-1 at Atahualpastadium.
Edison Preciado opened the scoring in the 57th minute, putting the team ahead of the capital. The scoring was spread for the locals when Marcos Caicedo won the second goal at minute 73. The discount was given by the Barcelona goalkeeper, Maximo Banguera, at minute 90+4, sentencing the match 2-1.
Moreover, Liga de Quito defeated Macará 0-2 in the stadium Bellavista, with goals from Ariel Nahuelpan (67 min.) and Paul Vitti (81 min.).
Another weekend tally was between Liga de Loja and Deportivo Cuenca.
The set Lojano got the win with a goal of Franklin “The Magician” Salas, in the 59th minute following a counterattack who beat goalkeeper Marcelo Ojeda.
Meanwhile, Emelec, won 3-0 at Deportivo Quito, but this victory did not exceed expectations of its coache, Gustavo Quintero.
