Barcelona paid the IESS and will play in their stadium
Posted On 17 Jul 2013
The soccer club, through its president Antonio Noboa, paid $ 386,523.91 to the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS) and signed a new agreement for the remainder of the debt, $ 313,476.09, with which it managed to lift the embargo on the court and the dressing rooms of the Monumental stadium.
The yellow team will be able to play in its court against Deportivo Cuenca at 19:30 today, for the second stage of the national championship.
The IESS seized the stadium on last Friday July 5, for breaching the agreement on a past-due debt of $ 700,000.
