Brazilian Actor in a Coma for Hanging on the Scene
Brazilian actor Thiago Klimeck suffered from cerebral anoxia due to lack of oxygen after being suspended in the air for four minutes at the time of the scene where Judas hangs himself.
The accident happened Friday night during a performance of the Passion of Christ in Itararé. Klimeck really almost accidentally hanged himself infront of hundreds of people who thought their seizures were part of the work. Four minutes later, the other actors realized that Klimeck was unconscious, so that with the help of rescuers he was put down and taken to hospital.
According to Haidar Maven, doctor of the Holy House announced today that Itapeva Klimeck, 27, is not at risk of death and indicated that due to lack of oxygen, the actor suffered a seizure but was not injured brain or spinal column so it will be kept in an induced coma until tomorrow.
The local police will make an expertise in the actor wore vest under his robe to hang from the gallows to try to discover if there was a failure in that accessory.
