Yesterday in the morning, California suffered the worst earthquake in 25 years. This left about 120 injured and widespread damage, mostly in the Napa region.
The magnitude of the quake was 6.1 degrees, at 3:20 am (10:20 GMT), about ten kilometers from the city of Napa, north of San Francisco.
“I was asleep and I thought someone was shaking the bed, but I quickly realized it was an earthquake. I thought it was very long and it scared me a lot”, said Coco Tando, an employee at a grocery store in Japantown in San Francisco.
In Napa, three people remain in critical condition and “120 people are receiving or have received treatment at the hospital Queen of the Valley”, according to the latest update by the city of Napa on their website.
