On March 24, seven principal directors and their respective alternates are elected to form the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control (Cpccs), the body in charge of electing national authorities and fighting corruption. By the mandate of the Popular Consultation on February 4, 2018, this is the first time these officials are elected through the popular vote. (I)
