Car Bomb Kills 30 in Aleppo

This Monday the Syrian state media informed that the death toll from a huge explosion by a car bomb increased to 30. The blast occurred last Sunday night in the Northern city of Aleppo, which has become one of the main battlegrounds of the country’s civil war.
The conflict that started on March of 2011 has claimed the life of at leas 23,000 people according to local activists. The blast was near two hospitals, one of them, Al-Hayat, was turned into a site to attend government troops.
Meanwhile Lakhdar Brahimi, the new U.N. – Arab League envoy stated that he will travel to Syria this week to meet with regime officials and civil society. AV
