Cesar Carrion Asks the IACHR to Review his Case
Posted On 07 Jun 2012
Colonel Cesar Carrion, former director of the Police Hospital, will insist on complaints before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), for the violation of his rights, when he was indicted and then removed from his duties.
Carrion hold his decision despite the government has refunded him to the police. The complaint before the IACHR will be presented in July this year.
Yesterday at a press conference, Jeaneth Orbe, Carrion’s wife, said the colonel kept receiving his salary for the duration of the trial.
Jeaneth Orbe also demanded President Rafael Correa to stop the verbal attacks against her husband. (MZ)
