Chavez will visit Ecuador to Discuss Cooperation Agreements

Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa confirmed that on Tuesday June 7 his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez will visit Ecuador to discuss the progress in bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, education, and culture.
“We will be honored again with the visit of President Hugo Chavez,” Correa said during the medal ceremony of Oscar Navarro, Venezuela’s ambassador in Quito
The meeting, postponed on several occasions, will be held in the resort of Salinas and will “monitor the progress of these agreements.”
“Ecuador and Venezuela are closer than ever, more united,” said Correa.
