Chinese businessmen visit flower plantations
Representatives of the China Flower Exchange Market group toured for three days flower plantations in Quito, Latacunga, and Cayambe.
This encounter organized by the trade office of Pro Ecuador in Shangai aimed at stimulating growth in exports of Ecuadorian flowers to China, as the company explained in a press release.
The activity, developed during the last weekend included visits to farms Inor Flowers, Florpaxi, Rosaprima, Vegaflor and Bellarosa.
During the visit a project that includes improving the logistics of the cold chain in China to allow Ecuadorian flowers reach inner cities of this country, facilitate negotiations between Chinese and flower importers, and reduce logistics costs was also presented through the cooperation with China Eastern Airlines.
