Civic Festivities Began in Guayaquil

More than 1,500 students from different schools of Guayaquil participated this morning in the civic proclamations to the city because of its festivities of July.

The parades took off in the street Pichincha and Av. 9 de Octubre. The first students were divided into different blocks.

The authorities and representatives of the participating schools saw the parade from Block 0; block 1 was formed by folk groups; while 2 consisted of eleven delegations that formed the flag of Guayaquil. Blocks 3, 4 and 5 were in charge of schools participating in the civic proclamation.(BG)
