Colombian Singer, Joe Arroyo dies after serious lung problems

This morning, Colombian singer and songwriter, Joe Arroyo died at the Asunción de Barranquilla clinic at age 55.

The composer of “La Noche” suffered a cardiac arrest due to a multiple organ failure. The news was confirmed to local media by his manager, singer Luis Ojeda, with whom he worked 28 years.

Arroyo was hospitalized last June 27th because of an hypertensive crisis and pulmonary edema, among other diseases. (BG)
