Colonel Cesar Carrion Could be Reinstated to the Police

This morning, Vinicio Villa, defense attorney of Colonel Cesar Carrion, announced the possibility of reinstatement to post of the former director of the Police Hospital.
Lawyers of Colonel Carrion reported this afternoon that they received a notification in which the Interior Ministry official ordering the return of Carrion to the institution. According to Villa, “the order was issued by the Ministry on May 31, but only on Monday, I was reported to my judiciary locker.”
Villa said they will reject the proposal that his client is assigned to the Directorate of Social Welfare of Police since by the hierarchy of his client should be reinstated in an operating position.
Cesar Carrion, was accused by the government because he suggested to kill the president Rafael Correa, while remaining within the Police Hospital in Quito, during the police riot of September 30, 2010. However, three courts found no support in the indictment and was declared innocent.
