Commission will review report of the Comptroller as part of the Dhruv inquiry process
The Legislative Oversight Commission will be devoted to read the results of the special investigations of the Comptroller General of the State about the acquisition of seven Dhruv helicopters -of which four have crashed- to sketch out a line of research of the topic.
The Commission also requested information about the training the pilots received to use the aircrafts and the two reports on the helicopters FAE 603 and 601 that suffered the accidents in 2009 and in 2014, prepared by the Boards of Military Accidents Investigation (JIAM).
The Comptroller in its opinion, said that there was “absence of coordination in the implementation of the contract” and “breach of the delivery times of the logistics package and the obligations of HAL,” observations that derived several administrative sanctions.
