Confederations Cup starts tomorrow in Brazil
With a match between Brazil and Japan, the tournament that pits the champions of each continent begins and it is a test of what the 2014 World Cup would be.
After overcoming several obstacles that caused trouble in FIFA, Tomorrow Brazil will host the ninth edition of the Confederations Cup. The stakes predict the final between the “Cariocas” and world champion Spain.
The cities Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife will host the Cup, to be carried out until June 30.
The tournament will be played in Brazil, as a local and world champions Spain, Italy for being vice champion in Europe; Uruguay, champion of America, Mexico, winner of CONCACAF, Nigeria, representing Africa, Japan for Asia and the unknown Tahiti Oceania champion.
Group A is composed Brazil, Japan, Italy and Mexico. The B is formed by Spain, Uruguay, Nigeria and Tahiti and will start playing on Sunday.
