Correa announced training, professional training processes, and masters degree studies for teachers

President Rafael Correa said that developing training, professionalization processes and masters degrees studies are being planned for Ecuadorian teachers, these statements were made during the signing of approval of the statutes of the guild named Teachers Network for Educational Revolution.

The president added that 10,000 teachers will be granted free tuition to study their masters degrees and another 17,000 will be trained.

Wilmer Santacruz, coordinator of the network, said that this will work with education authorities and the teacher´s staff. “We support the evaluation, training and professional development of teachers,” he said.
