Correa takes the defensive

President Rafael Correa has strengthened the concept of his television space as a distribution of defenses against criticism. He calls it “the truth” and since yesterday he has a website. Because in Ecuador the “truth” is free of charge on the Internet.

The new space. It has been the first announcement. The longest also. Correa took almost an hour to introduce his new website: elvalordelaverdad.com.ec. What is it? It is a new communicational way with which the government intends to deny criticism of its vision and is supported by a collection of images displayed over and over again during weekly addresses.
