Council advances the process to renew the CNE

The Citizen Participation and Social Control Council  is scheduled to meet and approve the report on the admissibility of the candidates that join the Citizen Commission of Selection, which will renew the members of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

The Citizen Selection Committee, which will elect two new members of the CNE, will be composed of 10 members. Five of them will represent the five functions of the State. The other five represent citizenship and shall be elected in the present competition.

The President of the Council, Fernando Cedeño, convened six members of the body to meet tomorrow at 10:00.
