Following the announcement made by businessman Álvaro Noboa, about the renovation of the PRIAN party, the councilor for Guayaquil, Vicente Basántez, son of the Assemblyman Vincent Taiano Alvarez, was also separated from this party.

Noboa announced that the PRIAN members who did not carry out a good job or those who have betrayed the Party, will not be candidates in future elections.

Taiano Alvarez, who led the PRIAN for several years, as well as Assemblyman Wladimir Vargas, confirmed their separation from PRIAN party in the past days.

Noboa also confirmed that these changes did not make the party weaker, but strengthen it.
