In Article 130 of the Organic Mobility Law (LOMH) it explains that Ecuadorian and foreign resident girls, boys and adolescents can leave the national territory under the following conditions:
- Accompanied by their parents, legal guardians or whoever exercises parental authority, or with one of their parents with prior notarial or judicial authorization from those who do not travel with them.
- Alone or with third parties prior authorization from the parents, guardians or those who exercise parental authority.
Requirements:
- Valid and current passport.
- Identity card to travel through South America.
- Authorization to leave the country in case of traveling with one of the parents, alone or with third parties, granted by a Judge, Notary Public and Consul accredited abroad.3
In the event that an authorization to leave the country has been granted by a Notary Public abroad, it must be translated into Spanish and duly apostilled.
