Cynthia Viteri responded to Correa and toured the province of Carchi
Posted On 16 Jan 2017

The candidate for the Social Christian Party (PSC), Cynthia Viteri, visited the streets of San Gabriel and Tulcan yesterday in the province of Carchi. She met with guilds and gave interviews to the local media.
On Saturday, in the afternoon, she planned to conduct a campaign in Milagro (Guayas) but suspended it because of the traffic accident that plunged several families of this population into mourning.
That day she issued a communiqué in which she rejected the ties that President Rafael Correa suggested about Carlos P. C., involved in the Petroecuador case, and the PSC.
She noted that those assertions are trying to divert attention from corruption cases. “They are nervous,” she stated.
Today she plans to meet with Leonel Fernandez, former president of the Dominican Republic and delegate of the electoral mission of the Organization of American States (OAS).
