Deadly Explosions Rock Damascus Court Complex
The Syrian state TV blamed rebel fighters of several explosions that rocked the main court complex in the Syrian capital Damascus, the attack left three people injured.
Several witnesses in Damascus reported the explosions from the car park of the palace of justice. Syria’s highest court complex. State TV broadcasted the pictures of the burning vehicles and called it “terrorist explosions.”
State journalists say the attack was a symbolic strike at the heart of authority of President Bashar al-Assad. Meanwhile activists informed that the violence across the country on Thursday has left 21 people dead.
The recent events involving Turkey and the take down of an unarmed fighter jet by Syrian forces, have changed the engagement rules. Now the Turkish border is being filled with rocket launchers and anti-aircraft guns. (AV)
