Democratic Left Headquarters are now empty

The building, located on Poland Street, Quito, which since the 90’s has served as headquarters of the Democratic Left (“Izquierda Democrática” for its spanish acronym), is now empty, filled only with memories.

The ID party has 15 days to resolve a crisis that has deepened in the last two years.

According to the electoral calendar, the ID party has to deliver 158,000 valid signatures in order to be registered. The deadline is this July 18. (MZ)
