Details of the MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie Awards show was held yesterday at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. It was hosted by the irreverent British comedian Russell Brand.

One of the highlights of the evening was when actor Johnny Depp took the stage to accept the Generation Award and shared the stage with the band The Black Keys to play together “Gold on the Ceiling” and “Lonely Boy“.

Actor Christian Bale paid tribute to Heath Ledger showing a  video of The Dark Knight before Christopher Nolan gave an exclusive preview of The Dark Knight Rises.
