Dhruv helicopters will no longer be used in the country

The Ecuadorian government ends its relationship with the HAL company to which it bought the Dhruv helicopters, reported yesterday the defense minister Fernando Cordero. Cordero also said that the three Dhruv helicopters that remain in the country will not be used indefinitely.
He also confirmed that the cause of the recent accidents of the Dhruv helicopters was mechanical malfunction. Following the announcement of termination of contract with the Indian company, minister Cordero admitted no questions from the press.
