Posted On 19 Oct 2012
The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), Domingo Paredes, says there is still no rule for the regulation of social media at election time, but that is definitely a measure to be adopted eventually.
“There must be regulations amd that’s where we’re heade, to regulate attitudes, pronouncements of people so the human rights, honor and dignity will not be violated,” said Paredes.
Paredes says being waiting for the Constitutional Court (CC) to inform him about the approval on such topic within the constitutional demands of the Code of Democracy. (MZ)
