Ecuador has a new airline . This is JetSmart , an ultra-low cost line that will provide its services in the country. The flights will be from Quito to Lima and Guayaquil to Lima and will be made directly.

Ticket sales will begin this Tuesday, November 21, 2023. But trips will take place from April 2, 2024.
One of the new features is the price of the tickets. The promotional amount ranges from USD 20 per section plus taxes of USD 62. In total, USD 82 for Guayaquil-Lima. And from USD 20 per section plus USD 90 in fees. That is, the total of USD 110 from Quito to Lima.
The scheduled frequencies of flights to Lima will be three times a week for Quito-Lima (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) and Guayaquil-Lima (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) flights.
On the subject, Niels Olsen, Minister of Tourism , said that with the arrival of JetSmart, an important cultural and tourist exchange with Peru is expected.
