“The Government of Ecuador expresses its rejection of the announcement made by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on September 3 of this year of a new nuclear test,” said an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The report recalls that the essay “is a violation of international standards on the prohibition, elimination and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons,” and “constitutes a threat to international peace and security.”
