Ecuador U-20 Entered to the World Cup
The Under-20 of Ecuador entered to world cup, yesterday after beating Chile 1-0.
The player who made the winning goal was Dixon Arroyo, who prevented a goal in the Ecuadorian side when the match was scoreless, after that in minute 72 he scored the goal with a big shot that put down the Chilean goalkeeper, Claudio Santis.
Tricolor team needed a draw to enter in the World Cup at Colombia –which will be played next July and August-, but the team struggled for the victory.
The match, played on a wet pitch was fast with arrivals of scoring for both teams, although in the first half was Ecuador who came with more risk with their forwards Edson Montaño and Marlon de Jesus.
Ecuador joined Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia (this for being the host) as South American representatives in the World Cup.
